Bintan & Bintan Industrial Estate (BIE)

Bintan island is part of the Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. It is about 2,400m2 (which is about 2.5 times of Singapore).

BIE is a 500-Hectare industrial estate owned & operated by Gallant Venture Ltd (which is a Singapore public company of S$650 million market capitalization).

It is a Free Trade Zone and all imports/ exports are free of duties and taxes.

It supplies electricity up to 21 MW and treated water up to 7,500m3/day. BIE also has its own treatment plants for waste water. It's port can handle up to 6,200 TEUs/ month.
